The name 'Milepost 275' has special meaning.  30 years ago, we had a family workshop and home at Milepost 275 on the Alaska railroad.  That off-grid homestead was complete with a team of dogs, a trap line, and blacksmith forge. Honoring that tradition, our local, family studio in Portland, Oregon now carries the name and creativity of that upbringing. Natural materials, stones, gems, unique reused items and other inspirations line the shelves with the hope that others find fond memories here as well.
